About Us

Willow Creek Campground was created with a simple vision: to bring people together in the heart of Alberta ranch country. Nestled along the calm waters of Willow Creek and surrounded by the rolling foothills of the Porcupine Hills, our campground offers a peaceful escape that’s still close to Calgary, Claresholm, and Waterton Lakes National Park.

Willow Creek Brewery

Our Story

The Willow Creek site has long been a landmark in the community. At its center is the historic Claresholm water treatment building — a piece of local history we are carefully restoring and retrofitting into a future bistro-brewpub.

Our plan blends agritourism, family recreation, and craft brewing into one destination:

  • A family-friendly campground with RV sites, glamping (coming soon!), picnic areas, and space to relax under Alberta’s big skies.

  • A community gathering space with outdoor patios, movies in the park, and a snack shack.

  • A brewery and bistro (coming soon!) that celebrates local ingredients and Alberta’s craft beer tradition.

What We Offer Today

While our vision is still growing, campers can already enjoy:

  • 30 large RV sites (unserviced for 2025)

  • Picnic tables and propane fire pits at each site (bring your own propane)

  • Peaceful views of cattle country and incredible prairie sunsets

  • Access to Willow Creek for skipping stones, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature

  • A beautiful nature corridor to explore

We’re excited to welcome visitors for a soft opening from August 29 to October 31, 2025.

Looking Ahead

The future of Willow Creek Brewery & Campground includes:

  • Full service RV sites with power and water

  • Sleeping pods for a glamping experience with integrated washrooms and showers

  • Brewery & bistro inside the historic Claresholm water treatment building

  • Outdoor theatre for movies under the stars

  • Snack shack, playground, and nature trails

  • Washroom facilities

We see Willow Creek as more than just a campground — it’s an agritourism destination that connects locals, travellers, and families to the land, the community, and each other.

Our Mission

To combine the art of craft brewing with the beauty of Alberta’s foothills, creating a welcoming destination where people can camp, connect, and celebrate the outdoors — all within an easy drive from Calgary.
